Your first appointment usually takes approximately 45 minutes - 1 hour.

Firstly, an initial consultation will be taken regarding your medical history and current areas of complaint, to ensure it is safe for your to undergo treatment.

 

Following the consultation, a short examination will be carried out to assess your spinal movements and areas of pain.

The main treatment will then commence, which generally involves soft tissue massage, spinal and joint articulation and manipulation (i.e. cracking).

 

Acupuncture treatment is also available, which aids muscle relaxation and relief in cases of chronic lower back pain.

 

You may ask for the treatment to stop at any point if any discomfort is felt. The treatment will be tailored to your particular needs and preferences.
